Sandblasting & Abrasive Blasting in Croydon
Croydon customers are about fifteen minutes north-east of our Bayswater workshop, and that workshop is where all the work happens — we have no mobile blasting service. Items come to 46 Malvern Street either with you or with transport we arrange at additional cost, are garnet or glass bead blasted depending on the substrate, and can be protective coated on the same site before going back to Croydon.

Logistics
Getting your items to us from Croydon
Most Croydon customers come down through Croydon and Bayswater Roads or via Mount Dandenong Road onto Canterbury Road, both of which reach us in around a quarter of an hour. From the Croydon South and Kilsyth side the run is shorter again, since you are already heading in our direction.
At fifteen minutes each way, the trip is a genuine decision rather than a formality — which is why Croydon customers often batch their work. Engineering shops and repairers in the area commonly send several items in one delivery, and that suits our setup: the blast room takes larger loads, so processing a batch together is usually more efficient than trickling parts in one at a time.
Bring it down yourself
Around fifteen minutes via Croydon Road or Mount Dandenong Road onto Canterbury Road. Worth doing on the first job with a new type of part, so we can look at the surface together and agree the approach before quoting the rest.
Transport arranged at additional cost
For heavy or oversized items we can organise a truck or courier both ways. If you are sending a batch from a Croydon workshop, moving it in one trip usually makes better sense than several car trips.
All blasting and coating is carried out in house at our Bayswater workshop. We do not offer mobile or on-site blasting, so items need to reach us one of the two ways above.
Local Customers
Who we typically help in Croydon
Croydon has a long-standing base of engineering shops, machinery and trade suppliers, repairers and light manufacturers spread through its industrial pockets, and that is where most of our Croydon work originates. The parts tend to be functional rather than decorative: machine components, shafts and housings, fabricated frames, brackets, guarding, tooling and plant parts that either need stripping before repair or blasting before coating.
Trade suppliers in the area also send items on behalf of their own customers, which usually means the surface finish has to match a specification rather than simply look tidy. We are set up for that — coatings are applied to specified as well as non-specified systems, and blasting media is chosen for the substrate so that stainless and aluminium parts are not contaminated or over-profiled. Domestic Croydon work — trailers, gates, outdoor furniture, restoration projects — runs alongside all of it.
