What we collect

We only collect information you choose to type into one of our two forms.

• Subject

Quote request form

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Quantity of items
• Item dimensions (length, width and height in millimetres, where you supply them)
• A description of the item and the work required
• Whether you would like us to organise a courier
• The pick-up or "from" location you enter
• Any image or PDF file you attach to the request

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information (such as health, financial account or government identifier details) through these forms. Please do not include it in a message or an attachment.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We collect this information for one purpose: to read your enquiry, prepare a quote, and contact you about the blasting or coating work you have asked about. Under APP 3 we collect it because it is reasonably necessary for our business of quoting on and carrying out abrasive blasting and protective coating work, and you provide it to us voluntarily when you submit a form. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Where it is stored, and who processes it

When you submit a form, the details are saved to a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, and any file you attach is uploaded to Supabase storage. A notification email containing your submission is then sent to our office through the email delivery service Resend, so that a person here can act on it. That email is also stored in our own business email account.

Supabase and Resend are our service providers (processors) and handle the information only to provide their hosting and email delivery services to us. Both operate infrastructure that may be located outside Australia, including in the United States, so by submitting a form you consent to your information being stored and transmitted overseas by those providers for this purpose (APP 8). We do not disclose your information to anyone else, except where we are required to by law.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set tracking or advertising cookies. We do not build a profile of you and there is no third-party tracking script on these pages. As with any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as your IP address and browser type) in order to serve the pages to you and to keep the site secure. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first.

Anti-spam measures

Our forms include a hidden field and a simple timing check that together filter out automated spam submissions. These check the behaviour of the form, not you, and they do not collect any extra personal information about you.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and quote enquiries, including any files you upload, only for as long as we need them for the purposes described above — responding to your enquiry, carrying out any resulting work, and keeping a record of quotations issued. When they are no longer needed for those purposes, they are deleted. If you would like your enquiry and any uploaded files deleted sooner, contact us using the details above and we will action your request.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Security

Form submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and the database and file storage are access-controlled so that stored submissions cannot be read from this website by the public. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access (APP 11.1).

Your rights: access, correction and deletion

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and to give you access to it (APP 12), to correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date (APP 13), or to delete your enquiry and any file you uploaded. There is no charge for making a request.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. Please tell us enough to let us find your enquiry — the email address or phone number you used, and roughly when you submitted it. We will respond within a reasonable period. If we cannot give you access or make a correction, we will explain why in writing.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
